Blogosphere minggu ini, sedang ribut soal kontes ngadutrafik2007 yang meyebabkan hilangnya (baca:suspend) blog di hosting gratisan(dot wordpress), karena sengaja ata tidak blog tersebut ditandai sebagai spam.
Btw, kontes tersebut akhirnya melarang penggunaan hosting gratisan untuk ikut lomba.
Saya tidak tertarik ikut kontes tersebut, karena saya sadar bahwa bandwith itu terbatas, tidak gratis dan saya lebih suka traffic yang alami (ngeles mode=ON).
Saya juga tidak akan ikut meramaikan debat tersebut, soalnya sudah cukup rame kaya es cendol :-).

Team dari GoogleMaps telah menambahkan fitur baru pada GoogleMaps yang memungkinkan para pengguna biasa yang tidak memiliki keahlian pemrograman untuk membuat peta dengan mudah pada layanan GoogleMaps.
Fitur baru tersebut bernama MyMaps. Pada menu MyMaps, kita dapat menambahkan pushpin, polygon dan line hanya dengan menggunakan mouse. Informasi tambahan yang juga dimungkinkan adalah deskripsi, kode HTML terbatas, foto dan video.
Koleksi peta yang telah kita buat juga dapat dipublikasikan untuk umum.

Berdasarkan posting oleh Nathan Weinberg, kita dapat mencari file mp3 dan ebook dengan mudah dan ‘gratis’ pada direktori web yang unsecure.
Untuk menemukan file mp3 “The Cure”, cukup mengetikkan script ini pada serachbox google.
intitle:index.of "mp3" +"The Cure" -htm -html -php -asp "Last Modified"
Sedangkan untuk mencari ebook “ASP.NET” misalnya, ketikkan script berkut:

I always looking for free web gis server with dotnet framework capabilities. Mostly everything that related with dotnet came with a charge.
